As i said before I am a student and learning driving now.
Everything made me to think is it Chinese social custom? Full of Money, Relationship, Cigarette, Expensive Food?
That’s the story.
First, I found many Pre-registers of Driving School in Nanjing and University.
There is nearly 2800RMB, 50RMB less or more. So it’s ok for me to take one of them.
After you decide to register they will ask you if you are a student and do you need to be hurry to finish it. Of course, everybody want to finish it in two month or less. So I add 30RMB to take a “Green Way”. especially for university students in Grade 3 or 4.
Second, What you have to do next is wait the message of your theory class beginning. It took near 27 days to wait for the messages.
Third, There is a three-day class to teach theory and you have to be there for 15 hours. They will give a card to check your time. You have no idea how waste time it is. Boring theory and you just need to sit there and wait the time arrive. They have their rules, the max time in the morning is 4 hours, 2 hours in the afternoon. So….boring.
Forth, go home to remember all the exercises in one book then take your first exam after 4 days. It’s easy for student to get 90 to pass it, but not for adult.
Fifth, wait one week after you pass your first theory exam(one of the charge said that go to the school to take practice for next item after 7 day you passed your exam). So I waited one week again. And When I arrive there to find next item coach, I found that there are some of learners in the same group with me was already learning.
I told the coach I have to finish it quickly because I have to go back to Wuxi at the beginning of July, and it’s already 18th May. He said that he will organize when. I went there everyday at the beginning and learn all the skills well in one and half week. In this period, I saw many people to check their card to add 20 hours for the training. But I just get two chance to check and come to 2 hours. Do you get it? It means if i want to meet the 20 hours, It will take me nearly 3 monthes. Incredible! After I know that the coach will make the card for 4 hours one day for you. So it still took me one and half month to wait my exam chance. It’s already 30th June.
Sixth, you have to pay 50RMB to get one chance to practice before the exam in the real place. And the time is From 10PM to 2AM. You know normal people is sleeping and we have to take the exam tomorrow. It’s 3 AM when I got home. It was so tired to take an exam.
Seventh, wait again after you passed the second exam. I called the coach for third item practice the day after I passed the exam. He asked me to wait his call to take practice and he will organise. I waited three weeks and I called him every week to ask when could I take the practice and exam. And One day I went there without his call. And I got the blame, of course, and went home with nothing. Just waste time and money.
Eighth, Finally I got the chance to practice. He said that the rule is we just have three days to take practice before exam.
First day, he tought us how to driving(it’s the real driving). There are eight people, one is just finished the second exam, and she have some relationship with the coach. She is special. She practiced 6 days and check the third item’s 15 hours. And everytime she drived more than others. Another women have the same situation with the coach — have a young boy at home and she give the coach some cigarette. She is totally bad driver. It took mostly 40 miniutes of her driving for one circle, and I just took 15 or less minutes. So I was there from 8 AM to 4PM just two circle, come to 30 minutes driving. How do you think about it?

Others told me that people who just took one month to finish all driving exams sent many many cigarette to every coach(come to four coach) and exam teacher. The cost is I can’t image, at least I have no money for gifts.
And if you have no money just like me, it must take 4 month. I had already took 3 month to pass three exams. And there is still one waiting…….
When is the End? Do you have to treat no money people like this? And I go to there everyday of practice and learning very carefully. I spend all the time waiting without work and network. And I have to rent a room for it. Terrible!!!
All is my complainment, and all things is real. If you want to take a driving school, please, please choose a good one and get more and more news about it before you register.
All of this make me think the Social Custom. What will happen when I find work…..
